Kenya, Turkana County, March 2018 – A shepherd from the village of Kakonk’u close to Lokichar. More than 60% of the inhabitants of the Turkana district are pastoralists, so their survival depends entirely on livestock. The extraordinary rains of March allowed the filling of a large basin where shepherds bring livestock to drink.
