Open Call: The Portrait Project
*pre-existing condition shows my son Charles in the midst of his regular nebulizer treatment for asthma. Charles is a rambunctious 4 year old but when the mask slides on his face the world seems to stop spinning if only for a few minutes. Here he sits, lost in thought, his regal surroundings enveloping him and lifting him up in silent meditation clearing the way for oxygen to reach into every corner of his tiny body.
