Project title: Adolescence

Adolescence is an archetype for our times, reflecting on the restless building of social bonds and a surprisingly concurrent feeling of total isolation. For almost five years I have examined adolescence through a narrative lens, during this time I continued to investigate new approaches to the subject matter, remaining in a state of constant flux and discovery. The last year my interest has shifted, building upon a documentary approach and grounding itself in more traditional portraiture. I am interested in how photography translates reality, and the restrictions set by a single frame or a single point of view
